It’s May?! Already?! 5/1/17 – 5/5/17

It was hard to believe today that it was already time to make our May calendars! I hope you enjoy seeing them come home each month.  Most children are now able to independently write their numbers 1-31. This is an authentic assessment of your child’s hard work over the school year.

We used construction paper scraps from another project to create our beautiful May flowers calendar toppers! We love to repurpose things for other uses. As my grandmother would say, “Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without!” We really try to do that with all our classroom supplies and materials. Thanks for all the donations of paper towel rolls as well, we will be using them this week for a science project. Along with the rest of the construction paper scraps!
