Kindergarten Supply List!!!

UnknownWelcome Kindergarten Families!

I am looking forward to meeting your children at the end of August when we begin our journey of learning together!

To make the supply list easy for you, I have created one through Amazon.com. These items will be mostly community supplies (markers, crayons, pencils) that will be shared. They do not need to be labeled. There are a few things your child will need labeled (folder, pencil box, composition journals.) I also only need 1 tissue box from every child. If you find better prices elsewhere – that is fine. These items do not need to be purchased through Amazon. (Though if you’re like me, Amazon Prime does make life convenient!) 🙂

This year, I am asking each child to bring in 10 packs of 8 count Crayola crayons. This will keep us having fresh crayons throughout the year as well as defuse arguments over if “strawberry red” is really red or pink. I am also asking for primary ruled composition books so we can do more authentic writing in multiple subject areas throughout the year.

Here is the link to my classroom list: http://amzn.com/sl/JSY26LT1UY2R

Your child will also need..
-a backpack big enough to fit a folder and their lunch
-a beach towel for rest time
-a lunch box and a snack bag
-a change of clothes to keep in school (socks, underwear, shirt, pants)
-a great big SMILE!!!

Any questions or concerns, please email me at bpurdin@johnsonschool.org. I try to check my school email every few days in the summer. Enjoy the warm weather and don’t forget to read! See everyone on August 31 if not before!

Sincerely,
Ms. Purdin, M. Ed, C.A.G.S.
