Hopeful and Happy

Another Field Day…

A final Spring concert…

A last writing project got it’s finishing touches…

Our classroom will begin to be broken down this week as we get ready for another summer break.

As I look back on this school year, it won’t be remembered by DIBELs scores or lost days due to snow (though that was a memorable winter!) I’ll remember how far each child came in their own way. How they were when I met them and how they are now, as we move on to another chapter. I have changed and learned a lot too, as this was a busy personal year for me; fulfilling a professional goal, taking more graduate courses than I can bear to remember, and learning new techniques to add to my teaching tool box. I am grateful for a school that allows me to still use my creative strengths and parents who appreciate the time and care I take to make our classroom and year together special.

Thank you for being on this journey with me. I feel hopeful and happy as we cross the finish line together. See you all on Wednesday morning at 8:30 a.m. in our classroom for our Kindergarten Success Celebration.

Sincerely,
Ms. Purdin 🙂
