S is For School Days (and Sidewalk Chalk)

Hope everyone had a lovely Father’s Day weekend! We started our day off this morning by sharing what we did over the weekend and then playing a new game called, “The Wind Blows.” Be sure to ask your student about it. It went over really well! The children are off in P.E. right now and when they get back we’ll have our snack and spend some time outside drawing with sidewalk chalk for S in our ABC countdown. (A BIG thank you to Keith’s mom for supplying us with materials!)

Our last few days together will be a time of remembering the good times, enjoying ourselves and our accomplishments and sharing in school traditions like Field Day and our final meeting with the Sixth Grade buddies. I think your student will enjoy their field day experience! But whether it is Wednesday or Thursday, be sure to put the sunscreen on in the morning and send your child with a hat!!

Hope to see you all next Monday Morning at our Kindergarten Success Celebration. The children’s work will be displayed and we will have a fun look back at our year together in a slideshow.

Thanks for all you do as parents. 🙂
