We’re Running Against the Clock!

And so it begins…

Baseball season starts, the days get longer, the weather FINALLY gets nicer, and this kindergarten teacher knows there is a VERY short amount of time left to get in all the fun and exciting things she wants to do before the end of the school year!

With less than 40 days left of school, we are going to get VERY busy with lots of school activities and kindergarten traditions. We, of course, will see our 6th Grade buddies a couple more times, Field Day is in June (more info on that later) and we will be finishing up our Fairy Tale writings this week.

Personally, I know its the end of the year because the yearbook is at the printer (woo hoo!), we have scheduled Incoming Kindergarten Info Night and I finished up my first semester in my CAGS in Educational Leadership program last week. (And all the coursework was due this weekend!)

Now we can take some time to enjoy our successes as a class, for which there are many reasons to celebrate and have a happy end of the school year together. The end of Kindergarten is an exciting time and your child should be proud of all the learning he or she has done this year. Even though Spring can feel like a whirlwind, make sure to have some quiet moments with your child to reflect on all he or she has done.

Keep in touch! If you would like to have a “check out” appointment before the end of year, please email me personally. Thanks!

Ms. Purdin 🙂
